Dear Didier,It's Philippe Manoeuvre...As you already know, sound is one of my natural obsessions ever since I was able to buy my own records.I surrendered to the purchasing of an exceptional Hi-Fi system, which was the result of a long research leading to a combination of Krell amplifiers / Martin Logan speakers... and even so, you are the one who brings THE solution to us...Your sound reproduction system is striking me. For the first time, it seems to me, someone has understood that EVERYTHING has to be dealt with the strongest importance: power supply, design, wires, pins and so on. Let’s talkabout the concrete experience now. No sign of disappointment. What else can I say? Again: Congratulations. You have nailed it!We listened to The Who and have got the feeling that Keith Moon went back to life in front of us. Just like he would have taught a binary rhythm lesson to the audience. The restitution of the drum skins/cymbals is absolutely remarkable, I insist on this. You managed to make our hearts beating to the sound of a progressive rock drum solo of an absconded subtlety. It was like being seated at the first row of the concert. We were fascinated, amazed and in admiration!Yes you do have the reality’s transparency with this new system… First thing that come to our mind is: we want to hear everything we can think of in this! Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, Miles Davis.... The (too short) audio experienceliterally brought us into the magic of the sound. This magic, you have succeeded to reproduce it like no one else with your wonderful system. No need to say that ever since, at each time I play a LP on a record player, I wonderhow it would sound on Didier’s system.Best of luck with your project! May the Gods of finance bring an advised eye on your advanced amazing work.Philippe Manœuvre

Joel Perrot, Pianist and Music Producer with 30 years of experienceManager of Soupir EditionsIn October 2016, I was invited to listen to an audio system, a seemingly extraordinary one…Not only extraordinary because of the sound that it reproduced, but above all, for its ability to evoke emotions. For decades, I’ve been passionate about the reproduction of sound. I was practically born with a Nagra system glued to my ears…What’s most important to me in music is emotion, to forget that we’re listening to a sound reproduction system and to have the feeling that, for example, a piano is actually in the room with us… a special aura, the kind of aura that you find around artists.I’ve gone through life immersed in live music. I’m a lover of elite instruments such as Fazioli pianos. I own a few models including a concert piano. Many of the artists that I produce also rehearse at my place. And then the unimaginable happened! Didier’s work is the essence of music, the emotion that only live music produces.I’ve brought records from my personal collection: I simply wanted to greet my musician friends as if they were there just to make music for us that day. An emotional simplicity, a thrilling reality that we never experience.Bravo Didier !

The work, time and reflection that you have put into the design of each element of the system is hugely admirable.I was struck by the precision of the tones of both voices and instruments, as well as by the sensation of space provided by the sharpness of the sound. This system immerses you into a three-dimensional image, which reproduces with complete fidelity the moment captured by the recording.Listening to a song then turns into a kind of teleportation: from the podium of the conductor to the inside of a recording studio with The Rolling Stones…you simply just need to change the track!Clear but never cold, colorful but never a caricature, impressive but never aggressive, the sound emanating from these futuristic and somewhat intimidating speakers is obviously exceptional.See you soon, I hope !

Hello Didier,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you and to tell you how much we appreciated to find out about your masterpiece!
I can’t say how wonderful it is to have been able to witness the reach of limits of all requirements in every aspect of a sound system, without giving any compromises.
The result is absolutely stunning by its clearness and accuracy throughout the whole sound spectrum. It gives a power similar to the recorded sources. There are no distortions, like it’s often the case. That explains the impressionwe have of actually attending a concert live!
Your system could totally be set up in average size living rooms as well as in greater size concert halls.
Congratulations! We will be looking forward to experience the system in its commercialised form. Let’s hope for the earliest! D2R2 will be singing soon!!

I brought my cello, a Gennaro Gagliano from 1758. As a blind test, I played it for an audience of connaisseurs. Then we listen the recording from Askja Sound System. The result was just splendid. They could not make the difference. As far as I am concerned, it was the first time in my life that I could "feel" and recognize my instrument, its cords, as well as the profoundness of the wood of the sounding board. This is for me the Graal of the music reproduction. It was incredibly emotional.
-
I listen to my own recordings with ASKJA and cried. I was overwhelmed by emotions. For the first time in my life, I could listen, almost touch, without playing, to the soul of my instrument. At home I have a 2M$ system. It gives back quite well the cords but not the wood table of my Cello. With ASKJA, the is something else. It gives back the incarnation of my music, the sould of my instrument, the texture of my skin on the cords. It is a miracle of emotions. It made me cry. It s a true miracle.

I am the sound engineer and director for music concerts such as Katy Perry,Texas, Madonna… for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Singapore and Asia. I listened to ASKJA’s system at Didier’s : It was incredible, unrivaled!!! A powerful and incredible realism. I visualize the concert, the dimension of the scenes, the intensity of the musical layers, the scattering of the musicians on scene. Without aggressiveness and a sense of total elegance. This system for auditorium studios would be a fabulous and long-awaited tool to improve the production. It’s very, very precise, the dynamism is incredible similar to real instruments. I’ve never heard such a pure sound in my life using electronic devices, just with real instruments.
-
Accompanied by a few music producers, I was extremely impressed by the sound reproduction of the ASKJA system. I’ve realized that our productions are unfinished because our tools in auditorium are lower qualitatively. Listening to the Dark Side of the Moon by the Pink Floyd, I hear all the approximation of the mixing. It remains excusable because the production dates from 1973, the problem is I hear the same approximations on today’s certain productions. It seems we work in the dark and ASKJA’s system reveals the most relevant sound I’ve ever heard.Listening, my producers, all ex mixers, recognize the brand of the drums, the type of cord used on the guitars, nylon or metal… it’s unbelievable!! This is why we will take the time and think of equipping some of our music studios with ASJKA’s system and create a new label which demands new requirements qualitatively. This approach will match up with the digital world which already revolutionized the world of image and will push the musical production to react. Congratulations to this major invention, I didn’t believe it could exist and I am numb.
-
My boy you will become a billionaire ! Not a Millionaire but a Billionaire !! I traveled across all the auditoriums in the world, listened to all the sound systems up to 2M$, I have never heard such a thing. They are there in front of us, with their instruments in relief. I’m even more impressed that you obtain such a quality only using the CD format. On this disc that I’ve just produced with Quincy Jones , the theme of Ennio Morricone sang by Celine Dion has give me the goosebumps, I’ve almost had tears running down my face. I’ve just finished mixing it, I know it by heart, but I would of never imagine it been play with such realism. I have the impression to be in the Recording studio with them. It’s the first time that I hear from a sound system such a discharge of emotions. This makes me love my job even more.
-
I’m shaken! The ASKJA system is sound haute couture. What density, what accuracy! Not an ounce of aggression. If only I could get this sound on stage, it would be a miracle! And the design leaves me speechless…
-
The ASKJA system I listened to was simply unbelievable! I had brought studio recordings that I knew perfectly well and I found the same spectral balance, the dynamics of a REAL orchestra free of the aggression normally found in large systems. In terms of the fabrication, it is a jewel. In short, the masterpiece of a passionate with a high sense of aesthetics.
-
This has been the second time that I had the opportunity to listen to your System. And, each time I still walked away with the same amazement!! What?? - a puny tube amplifier driving a 15 inch bass to very loud level, capable of sonorous gut impacting bass, and to boot being driven to full power?? The output performance did not miss out any slam or transient impact. But the gain is outright live-like transparency, immediacy and speed. Your conceptual design is outright simple, implemented state-of-the-art materials to craft out the sound meeting your objectives, and your execution - brilliant.
The results and outcome of the sound is clearly unbelievable. In my 30 years of listening experience I have encountered many similar horn loaded speaker systems driven in the same manner, but never one that had the ability to take away my breath in such a manner. -
You have been a wonderful host, and we thank you for the privilege of letting us feast on that immaculate expression of cosmic beauty. I must confess it was sheer delight to the spirit. That little gem you have in your living room must certainly go out to those that fanatically defend the cause of faithful sound reproduction- pure, sublime, and unsullied by the distortions of the ambiance and infidel electronics. It certainly is the closest one can get to immortalizing an auditory memory, and reliving it at will - many many times.

If you feel the difference between walking in the forest and walking on the moon, entering a wooden hut or entering the Chartres’ Cathedral, so you can understand the difference that exists between any new sound systems last generation and ASKJA. The best sound system goes to ASKJA comparing a microlight is to a space shuttle.
The engine invented by Didier KWAK allowed me the most astonishing and aesthetically pleasing experience with music in my life.
With ASKJA, you don’t listen to music anymore, you live the music, it’s a life experience, an incarnation. You are in the head of the musician, you live the creative abundance which is the mental universe of a musician, the least note shines, sparkles, explodes in your head, you live the music as if you’ve written it yourself, you feel the fluidity, the complexity, the strength of the music, you experience the powerful creation of the musician becauseyou have penetrated in his brain or rather he has penetrated in you.
It’s a truly incredible sensation to become yourself a musician even though you weren’t before.
I am sure this very special and spatial engine has a magnificent future ahead of him.
Indeed, the richest men are now seeking for new incredible sensations. Now that they have visited the world, filled their garage with Maseratis, bought all the biggest football clubs, what else have they to discover ? The musicexperience offered by ASKJA, isn’t the access to art and beauty the supreme aspiration to Humanity ? -
I wanted to thank you for being able to listen to my favourite tunes on your fabulous system. I’m deeply found of Dave Brubeck and Gerry Mulligan whom I saw and listened to at the Fontainebleau theatre when I was part of theYouth and Music France, a long time ago. The sound of your astounding machine brought me straight back to this theatre. I was there with them! Next session, I will bring along Art Tatum, a wonder, and if you never heard Ben Webster, his sax, on your system, it should be sublime. You will love it.Thanks again and congratulations.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me experience such and incredible journey.
As a person working with images, I’ve always been convinced that it was responsible for gathering the greatest deal of pure emotions. I’ve got it all wrong! After more than 20 years surrounded in a field of new technologies, dedicated to high tech digital tools, this was a heck of a slap!
I had never trembled this way, listening to a maestro from whom I felt so close that I could hear the rubbing that his fingers are making on the strings! Each single pressure comes like an image to me. I had never felt before such change of atmosphere from a concert hall, the energy that is being provided by each musician, exactly like I was in the place myself. I have experienced a sound moment like I had never had before. I was overwhelmed by all these feelings, like if I was encountering a hidden soul.
You just invent the first sound immersion machine. Greatly done! Thank you. -
Wonderful experience! An exquisite sound quality, improved by a spatial perception of music, which transforms the listening session into a unique and unforgettable journey !
